Dr L. Jane Barnes
           
Dr. Barnes is a licensed naturopathic physician. She graduated in 2006 from Bastyr University, a nationally accredited naturopathic medical school in the Seattle, WA, area. She uses gentle, well-researched therapies to assist in pain management and return people to a higher level of functioning. Her practice is based on the belief that her patients' needs are of the utmost importance. She is committed to meeting those needs. As a result, a high percentage of her practice is from patient referrals and repeat patients.
 
Dr. Barnes is primarily a general practice physician focusing on weight loss and endocrinology. See a further explanation of naturopathic medicine on the next page.
 
Dr. Barnes also holds a masters degree in religious education from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and a bachelor of arts degree from Murray State Univeristy in mathematics and french. She has worked in higher education administration, as a middle school and high school math teacher and coach, is an ordained minister having served several years as a missionary coordinating activities for groups of 60-70 churches, serves as president of her homeowners association, and is an active triathlete.
